A Great Planning Tip
A great tip when planning any custom cabinet project is to collect samples of all the materials that you are planning to use. Get samples of your cabinet doors, stain or enamel color, flooring, backsplashes, stone work, faucets, on down to the cabinet hardware. With these in hand you can see just how the colors or decisions you wish to make work before you invest!
When viewing your samples consider the format you are viewing them in. Computer screens versus in person viewing may have color variations between them. Once you have your samples together, stack them! By placing them all together this will help you to see if certain colors clash or compliment each other.
The lighting will also be important when viewing your samples. Choose to look at your samples in a lighting that is similar to your home. For example, a warm white light will reflect differently off your samples than a bright white light. Bring your samples home to ensure there will be no surprise to your vision!
This is why we have a Sample Door Program and Finish Sample Program. The Sample door program allows you to create a cabinet door so you can see exactly what your profile selections look with your stain or enamel color. Or if a door is not necessary, for each job we create a Finish Sample for you to review and approve. Our goal is ensure your custom cabinets are what you have dreamt about!
